Osh. IAA "VARORUD". Olim Khamdamov. Traffic and rescue services of Osh oblast hurry to help inhabitants of fifteen settlements in Alaykuu massif the road to which is blocked with snowdrifts.

10 kilometers separates the traffic service from Sari-Bee village of Kara-Kuldjin district, where avalanching has occurred recently. Local authority is ready to help two families suffered from the avalanche, informed "VARORUD" the southern regional department of Kyrgyzstan Ministry of Emergency.

According to the source, the inhabitants if fifteen villages of Alaykuu massif have to wait a week more. "Here were the precipitations of three months rate and the height of snow cover is 2 meters here and there". All steps are directed to road cleaning", - said officials.

According to local officials, the inhabitants of the mountain zone have no difficulties connected with lack of food and other essential commodities. They also said, that food supply will be sufficient for minimum 10 days.

At the same time the traffic service workers are getting preparation to a forced descent of the avalanche in most dangerous areas of the road. The specialists on anti avalanching service began the examination of pointed roads.

The volunteers' work will be paid at the expense of regional funds. Staring from 2006 such method will be introduced in Osh oblast.

According to Zhenish Ashirbaev, senior inspector of regional Department of Internal Affairs' press-group the district authority and the department of Social Protection will jointly finance volunteers' activity.

Every volunteer will get from 500 to 800 Kyrgyz som per month. Each district will define the concrete sum of the wages itself.

"Before there was item of expenses of such kind. The fellows did not get any encouragement. There were some militiamen who paid to volunteers from their own pockets to stimulate them. But you see, it is not a solution of the problem", - mentioned the interviewer. The initiators of the new method consider, thus they will solve the problem of unemployment among the young people and reduce social tension. It is not a secret that in villages and in the town as well most of young people have no business to occupy themselves with and spend their time mostly drinking alcohol and fighting in the streets. The new work will interest them.
