12.11.2003ANALITICS - SOCIETY

OPIUM FOR PEOPLE AND RELIGIOUS ZOMBIES

Many of us encountered people in the streets who agitate for entering this or that religious society. At first you are invited to sit in a friendly company, to listen to absorbing stories how wonderfully the life on the earth will be if all people unite in this or that belief, that there will be no enmity and wild beasts and birds will live in peace with man as tamed rabbits. You will be handed in colorful brochures at once. The latters dwell on the way to that same wonderful life, but, alas, only those will enjoy it who accept the behests of a certain religion. From neither sectarian you will hear the word "sect". Though that is their real name. Protestant sects are everywhere over Europe and America. They are expanding the Orient offering pseudoreligious opium to population. They utilize the Bible distorting its essence. They convert prayers into an amusing carnival.
Perhaps you ran across the announcements in your city or town inviting to the classes in taekwondo. The text was approximately to the following effect: if you want to be strong, healthy, make progresses in studies (life, etc.) don't put the matter off, come and enter your name. As for the implied essence of these classes, one girl who attended them told the following:
- The first lessons are going on uneventfully, no requirements are moved. But then they make you learn the Korean language and pray in a Korean fashion before classes.
As for the promise "to make progresses in studies", I must confess, I don't know any of my peers who would have studied better invoking a persuasion of this or that religious sect. It is impossible already because the very system of belief doesn't afford to extend your caliber at the cost of the books read. In general all literature is considered to arise from Satan except those books which are written by sect pastors.
- Up to the fifth form I had only excellent marks, my classmate Sasha retail. - But then my desire to study simply went away. I can't make myself take manuals in hands. When I see books I feel repulsion on the verge of nausea.
It may be coincidence but Sasha was just a fifth-form pupil when he joined one of the sects.
It is common knowledge that sects congregate representatives of different nationalities, i.e. historically different religions. Subsequently, this national association is bound to exclude nationalism and chauvinism. All nations are equal - this is the slogan of sects. Then one thing is unclear for me - why did the sister of my acquaintance - being vehemently "believing", ready to agitate even an ant provided the latter were faithful to the sect - forbid her to make friends with a fellow because of his different national appurtenance?
Their holiday is a fairly curious spectacle. All music and literature are considered devilish. Sect conglomeration works so regularly and purposefully that they launch special audio-records. The texts of songs are approximately to the following effect: I was roaming in darkness until I invoked belief and now I do live well, I found the way to eternal happiness and the salvation of my soul. As for melodies, they are rather trivial - it is pop music or rap. This music (in distinction to that one listened by us) is considered sacred. In sects there is something like dancing circles where youths compose dances being in tune with these songs. Movements don't differ greatly from those performed by dancing teams. It is something of worshipping their gods, peculiar spiritual purification.
Once I had a chance to be present at the birthday of one of sectarians-girls. Here there are some points without which this holiday (and practically all other sectarian "parties") is unthinkable. Without special prayers you can't even eat a piece of bread. Congratulating "the newly-born" they will by all means read peculiar prayers, hereby they will be praying vehemently reducing themselves to hysteria, tears and hand trembling. They will be singing a lot under guitar (grand-piano). The songs are of the same contents: how glad I am having seen the light and treaded upon genuine path. The toughest desideratum is approximately the following: how wonderful it is that we shall be living everlastingly in heavens.
Apart from it they try to separate themselves from secular environment in every possible way. they don't watch TV (programs and films are devilish), don't listen to music (it is devilish too), don't read newspapers (there are complete crimes there, but you are to live in peace). And the main thing is that they are waiting for the End of the world to come, they are waiting for it with all their heart and soul and they hope to be present by this dire action. To say the truth, the final aim for sectarians is to find themselves in a paradise and convinced believers assert they had no real life before entering the sect. Their "past" life was an abominable existence prepared for them by the devil.
But you shouldn't think that there are only convinced believers in sects who pray day and night for the salvation of their soul with their eyes raised up. There are people who enter the sect striving after profit. This is on utterance of one teenager:
- I attend this sect because those who become missionaries are sent to Korea.
How easy and simple it is! The boy want to go to Korea, so he joined the sect.
Apart form abroad trips sectarians are lured by worn things, small presents - colored calendars, books which they may carry home. And it is not all yet. Those sectarians who are directly employed in agitation and bring new people to the sect are paid a certain premium. That's why sectarians-agitators are very persistent and obtrusive in persuasions. Believers also collect (and it is obligatory) donations for the church fund. There is some tax (one tenth) for every sect visitor. So, not everything is done so disinterestedly as it seems at first sight.
Prayers are no orderly prosaic or poetic pronouncements. They are sects of phrases occurring by chance. For example: I order the devil to leave alone (a human name). I invoke light ghosts to fight for the soul (of a certain person). You will soon have what you want and I bless you". Herewith, somebody may fall into ecstasy during these prayers and it is difficult to "return" them into reality.
One ought to hold one another by hands without relinquishing - this is an obligatory term. An energetic charge passes from man to man through hands. By the way, when praying for you sectarians may use unfamiliar speech. They say, it is Holy Ghost who implants in every believer and begins to pray though his/her mouth.
And some things about taekwondo. To my mind, it is an aggressive variety of eastern single combats. Think a bit, what are the designs of the sect which propagandizes a kind of sports including not self-defense but aggression? Aggression permeates the very agitation and talk of sectarians as well. They don't acknowledge the opinions and actions of "non-believers", they convince the latters to get rid of satan's captivity as soon as possible.
The Internet is not missed by sectarians either. You may find diverse protestant sites in it which tell that the church suggests our returning to the ideals of Protestant Reformation discarding all sorts of extraneous features beset with humanism. How do you like it? Here you may be offered also subscription to newspapers and other sorts of this type of literature.
In their activity sects often take advantage of people's aspirations for being better than they are. In the first, a compulsory term for all sectarians is to lead healthy and sound way of life. In the second, not to say spiteful things and not to use abnormative vocabulary. In the third, and this thing is of no small importance, leisure arrangements are widely spread in sects. We must recognize the fact that the collapse of USSR stopped the activities of many sporting sections, circles, studios. Where should a child go after school? What can a pupil take up in free time? There are two ways: either to dirty places where drug addicts congregate or to a sect. Here you will find warmth, gaiety, kindness. When singing people clasp their hands, applaud, stamp their feet in unison with tune, dance. It is much more interesting than to bend or pray in a standing position. There are free of charge canteens for poor old people. Sect leaders know how to gain the hearts of people. For old people their motherland is there where it is warm. They are given free of charge meals and medicines. For children there are songs and games, communication they need greatly in their age. People perish in this abyss of sanctimoniousness and hypocrisy. Their consciousness is zombied with preudoreligion, their notions about world, people, human values are distorted. Of course, free of charge meals, clothes and communication are good things. But are they worth of your soul being sold and your psyche permitted to be perverted?
